E-Wallet Ecosystem on kikoto
Our kikoto platform supports six payment methods, five of which are e-wallets. Each method integrates directly into our mobile deposit flow, so there's no copy-pasting of bank account numbers or waiting for virtual account details.
Here's what we support on kikoto:
- DANA: Instant balance top-up via SMS or app link. Deposits settle within seconds. Widely used in Jakarta, Surabaya, and across Indonesia.
- e-wallet: App-based wallet with real-time balance updates. Supports withdrawal back to mobile banking as well.
- local payment: Integrated with Gojek ecosystem. Deposits route through Gojek's payment rail, fast and transparent.
- online payment: Part of Shopee's payment infrastructure. Links to your Shopee account for easy account recovery if needed.
- e-wallet: Government-backed digital wallet. Often has lower transaction fees for players who prioritize cost.
- mobile banking: Unified QR code standard. Use local payment if your bank or e-wallet doesn't appear in our list above.
We also accept direct bank transfers (online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment virtual accounts), but e-wallets are faster and ideal for mobile play because they avoid bank processing windows.
Linking an e-wallet to your kikoto account is a one-time step. Log in to your account on mobile (Android or iOS), go to Deposit, select your e-wallet, and tap "Link Account." Our platform redirects you to your e-wallet's login (online payment app, e-wallet app, etc.), where you approve the connection. Once linked, future deposits are one-tap—no re-authentication needed unless you log out or change your e-wallet password.
We never store your e-wallet credentials on our servers. We only keep a tokenized reference, so if kikoto's database is compromised, your mobile banking or local payment account stays protected. This is industry standard, but we want to be explicit about it because account security is critical, especially in markets like Bandung and Medan where players often use the same password across multiple apps.

6
Complete e-wallet authenticationE-wallet app/SMS
Your e-wallet app (local payment, online payment, etc.) opens or an SMS with a confirmation code arrives. Approve the charge. Seconds later, your kikoto balance updates.
Total time from tap to playable balance: typically under one minute. For e-wallets like e-wallet and mobile banking, it's almost instant. Bank transfers may take longer (one business day), but e-wallets on kikoto are immediate.
What to Do If Your E-Wallet Deposit Stalls
Occasionally, a deposit may not settle immediately. This usually happens if:
- Your e-wallet app is out of date. Update local payment, online payment, or e-wallet from your app store, then retry the deposit on kikoto.
- Your e-wallet has low balance or insufficient funds. Check your e-wallet balance directly. If it's low, top up via your bank or transfer money from another account, then retry the deposit on kikoto.
- Your e-wallet account has a security lock. Some e-wallets lock accounts after failed login attempts. Log into your e-wallet directly, verify your identity (via SMS or biometric), then return to kikoto and retry the deposit.
- Network timeout during payment. If your phone loses internet mid-transaction, your e-wallet may charge you but our kikoto system doesn't receive confirmation. Check your e-wallet transaction history; if the charge shows there, contact our support team (English or local language) with your transaction ID, and we'll credit your account manually.
- Daily or monthly e-wallet limit reached. Each e-wallet has spending limits. mobile banking, local payment, and online payment allow different daily caps depending on your account verification level. If you hit a limit, wait until the next day or month, or use a different e-wallet.

We on kikoto do not hold deposits in escrow. If your e-wallet charged you, we either credit you immediately or flag it for manual review. Contact our support team with your transaction ID if a deposit doesn't show up within one hour.
Withdrawing to Your E-Wallet from kikoto
Cashing out from kikoto is the reverse of depositing. Log into your account, go to Withdraw, and select your e-wallet. We'll ask you to confirm the e-wallet you want to receive the funds (it must be the same one you deposited from, or an alternative you've added to your account). Enter your withdrawal amount and confirm.
Our withdrawals enter a review window—typically a few hours, though high-value requests or unusual patterns may take longer. Once approved, we send the funds to your chosen e-wallet. online payment and e-wallet typically credit within minutes; mobile banking and local payment may take a few hours during off-peak times. Your e-wallet transaction history shows the deposit, and your e-wallet balance updates accordingly.
We do not charge withdrawal fees. Any fees from your e-wallet (some charge small withdrawal fees in certain countries) are between you and your e-wallet provider. On kikoto, withdrawals are free.
E-Wallet Linking and Account Security on kikoto
When you link a e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet account to kikoto, we never ask for your e-wallet password. Instead, we use OAuth (open authorization) tokens—your e-wallet app authenticates you directly, and we receive a temporary token saying "this person verified with mobile banking." That token expires, so even if kikoto gets hacked, a leaked token isn't useful for accessing your e-wallet.
You can unlink an e-wallet from your kikoto account anytime in Account > Payment Methods > Manage E-Wallets. Tap the three-dot menu next to your e-wallet and select Unlink. This immediately revokes our access; future deposits require you to link again.
If you suspect unauthorized activity on your kikoto account, change your kikoto password immediately. If you suspect your e-wallet was compromised, change your e-wallet password and contact your e-wallet provider directly (not kikoto). Our support team can help with kikoto account recovery, but e-wallet issues are handled by local payment, online payment, etc.
